Ex-founding Directors of, Billy Tilley and Peter Harding are no strangers to raising money for charity through gruelling sporting endeavours.  Whilst Peter is a dedicated runner and Billy a serious cyclist, they are both proficient all-round sportsmen.  In recent years they've run, cycled and swum thousands of miles between them, training and competing in a variety of events and raising thousands of pounds for charity.

In two weeks' time they have set themselves yet another major challenge -when they'll take part in one of the world's toughest Triathlons which is held over 8th-10th July in Wales -The Long Course Triathlon. This begins with a 2.4 Mile swim in the open sea off Tenby's North Beach on the Friday, then there is a 112 mile bike ride to do on the Saturday through the undulating countryside of Tenby / West Wales.  The final stage is on the Sunday when they have to run a full 26.2 miles in the Great Welsh Marathon.

More than 7000 competitors have attempted the difficult terrain and challenging weather conditions on this punishing route since its first race in 2010. Of last year’s 200 Long Course Weekend athletes, only around half could manage to cross the finish line and collect the final piece of the event’s unique medal design.

Billy and Peter have chosen Newport-based charity Dreams & Wishes to receive their sponsorship money.  They discovered the wonderful work this charity performs whilst providing professional IT support to the charity through their company DistinctIT.

The Dreams & Wishes Charity is dedicated to making a real difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families. Its goal is to fulfill an ill child’s dreams, this could be through gifts, a holiday of a lifetime or giving them the chance to meet their favourite celebrity.

We wish Peter and Billy the very best of luck with this incredible challenge,  look forward to seeing them finish, and hope they can raise even more money than the £1426 already pledged.  Please spread the word about their magnificent effort.  You can show your support by donating through their JustGiving page:
