Lots of people raise money for charity by holding coffee mornings, but the local 'Cake Break'  event in aid of  The Multiple Sclerosis Society that we attended last week was definately a cut above in terms of the delicious cakes on offer!

We're delighted to introduce our new addition to the office dog team - little rescue cockerpoo Ozzy, who takes up position as office junior to established senior, Seren.

Ex-founding Directors of, Billy Tilley and Peter Harding are no strangers to raising money for charity through gruelling sporting endeavours.  Whilst Peter is a dedicated runner and Billy a serious cyclist, they are both proficient all-round sportsmen.  In recent years they've run, cycled and swum thousands of miles between them, training and competing in a variety of events and raising thousands of pounds for charity.

Our Featured Charity, Finding Furever Homes, which sponsors kennels in Shropshire, is repeating a recently-made call for people to make certain they are Rescue Ready before giving a rescue dog a home - in lightHoney of a recent run of dogs being returned to kennels.

Our Featured Charity Finding Furever Homes is inviting people to take part in a “blind date” experiment leading up to Valentine’s Day in order to set them up with their ‘Pawfect Pal’ - where would-be adopters are matched to dogs without appearance playing the leading part in choice.

The Finding Furever Homes Charitable Trust was formed in 2013 when four middle-aged women got chatting on Twitter about how bad the rescue dogs situation was in the UK.  So many dogs losing their lives, and rescue organisations desperate for funding.  From that chatting, a big idea was born.

Our Featured Charity*, Finding Furever Homes has an amazing track record of placing rescue dogs into good homes – 316 in the last two years, and rising.  It is always a challenge for dog rescue charities to raise enough funds to make ends meet and find a constant supply of new homes, but for the months November until the end of February, ‘the challenge intensify enormously, making our task even harder’, says Andrea Newton, founder of FFH.

Our recent donation of £525 to the Society for the Welfare of Horses and Ponies was featured in the Monmouthshire Beacon 17th June 2015.
